Making business trips more sustainable

Topics such as sustainability and virtual meetings are playing an increasingly important role in business travel. In order to better understand the needs of companies, bta first travel conducted a sustainability survey of 50 companies, from national SMEs to large multinational corporations, from various industries on the subject of business travel.

Entry Great Britain – new regulations

From 2 April 2025, European and Swiss travellers will need an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) to enter the UK. Swiss nationals planning to enter the country after 2 April can apply for their ETA from 5 March 2025. The obligation also applies to children and babies. The cost is expected to be 10 British pounds (11 francs).
The ETA can be purchased on the government website or via an app.
The processing time is normally three days and the authorisation is sent by email. The ETA is valid for two years and can be used for multiple trips to England, Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland.
